Child Support Agreements/Orders and Applications
We can assist you in the preparation of a Child Support Agreement – an agreement between a paying parent and receiving parent to record agreed Child Support payments which can be either in addition to, or completely replace, any Child Support Assessment. We can provide the independent legal advice required for a Binding Child Support Agreement prepared by another firm. We can also represent you in an application to the Family Court in relation to Child Support – though there are limited circumstances where such applications may be bought. The firm can also assist in the preparation of applications to the Child Support Agency to vary or depart from the Child Support Formula.
