Restraining Orders
Restraining Orders
If you are being harrassed or threatened by someone, either directly or indirectly, you may apply for a Family Violence Restraining Order or a Misconduct Order.
These Orders protect a person by limiting the behaviour of the person making the threats. A breach of such an Order can be a criminal offense.
On the flip side, restraining and misconduct Orders can limit the freedom of the person accused of the bad behaviour and may result in that person being unable to attend their home, or see their children.
Our solicitors can assist you in making an application or can represent you in pursuing a restraining order or defending one.
